Wire Ties #13 6-1/2" x 9 ga (Bag of 100) For Chain Link Fences

While chain link fabric is designed to keep out intruders, without some means of securing, it will hang loosely, providing multiple unwanted entry points through which people and animals can slip. In order to be truly impenetrable, your chain link fabric needs to be attached firmly to the framework of your fence. That's where these 6-1/2" x 9 ga aluminum wire ties come in. Strong yet flexible, these ties are designed to wrap first through the "knuckles" at the edge of your fence and then around either a line post or a top rail. Doing so will pinch the two together. Now your fabric will be firmly secured at this particular spot.

Each wire tie features a hooked end for easier installation. Made of rust resistant materials, they are designed to last: an important feature for outdoor fencing constantly exposed to the elements. Each bag comes with 100 wire ties.

Details

How the part fits? The 6-1/2” wire ties are designed to go around line posts and over top rail.

Where is it installed? The 6-1/2” wire tie is installed every 24” on the top rail, and for your line post you will have the height of your fence minus 1. For example: for a 4’ fence you will have 3 wire ties. The 3 ties will be evenly spaced out, the first one 6” from the bottom and the last one 6” from the top. 

How many do you need? You will need one wire tie every 24” for the top rail, and height of your fence minus 1 for each line post.
