Package Quantity:

The 2-1/2” Black End Band is a sturdy, essential component in the assembly of chain link fence panels, designed to secure horizontal rails, tension wire, and barbed wire to gate posts, corner posts, and end posts—all of which are universally classified as terminal posts. Start by fitting your chain link fence’s terminal posts with tension bands. Slide the Black End Band over the post adjacent to the end rail and then place the rail end between the band’s tangs. Secure using a carriage bolt (sold separately). This end band has been fabricated using black vinyl, making it an aesthetically beautiful fitting for chain link fencing.

  • Also great for gate frames
  • Fits 2-1/2” outside diameter pipes
  • Black vinyl coating
  • Nut and bolt not included, Part 11170B

Details

How the part fits? The end band couples around the gate post, corner post, and end post to connect top, bottom, or mid-rails, barb arms/barbed wire, tension wire, and more.

Where is it installed? The end band fits on the gate, corner, or end post. The band can be placed on the upper, middle, or lower part of the post depending on the use.

How many do you need?  To attach the top rail, you will need at least one end band per termination of fence. For every full stretch of fabric, you will need two end bands for your two terminal posts. This rule is also true for bottom or mid rail, tension wire, barbed wire, or other use.

Specifications

2-1/2" OD post size; .19lbs.

How To

When using the end band for top rail, end bands should be installed after you install your tensions bands. Your end band will slide over your terminal post adjacent to your rail end. You will then slide your rail end in between the tangs of the end band and place a 5/16” x 1-1/4” carriage bolt (Part 11170B, not included) through the band and rail end and tighten the nut.
