Sturdy and built to last, the 2” Black End Band is essential for assembling chain link fence panels. The specific function of this band is to securely hold terminal posts, which include gate posts, corner posts, and end posts. The installation process is simple. Begin by fitting all of your terminal posts with tension bands and then slide the Black End Band over the terminal post adjacent to the end rail. The rail end then needs to be placed between the tangs of the end band. Finally, secure in place using a carriage bolt (sold separately).

Fabricated using black vinyl, the 2” Black End Band is an aesthetically attractive, functionally necessary part of making your chain link fence complete.

  • Also great for gate frames
  • Fits 2” outside diameter pipes
  • Black vinyl coating
  • Nut and bolt not included, Part 11170B

Details

How the part fits? The end band couples around the gate post, corner post, and end post to connect top, bottom, or mid-rails, barb arms/barbed wire, tension wire, and more.

Where is it installed? The end band fits on the gate, corner, or end post. The band can be placed on the upper, middle, or lower part of the post depending on the use.

How many do you need?  To attach the top rail, you will need at least one end band per termination of fence. For every full stretch of fabric, you will need two end bands for your two terminal posts. This rule is also true for bottom or mid rail, tension wire, barbed wire, or other use.

Specifications

2" OD post size; .16lbs.

How To

When using the end band for top rail, end bands should be installed after you install your tensions bands. Your end band will slide over your terminal post adjacent to your rail end. You will then slide your rail end in between the tangs of the end band and place a 5/16” x 1-1/4” carriage bolt (Part 11170B, not included) through the band and rail end and tighten the nut.
